Affordable housing provider, A2 Housing Group have been awarded a top industry prize during a glittering awards ceremony at Sandown Park, Esher.
As one of the largest regional providers of housing in the area, A2 are now 'Surrey Company of the Year'.
Commenting on this important accolade, John Knevett, Chief Executive said: "The provision of affordable housing is high on both the political and local government agenda. This award recognises the importance in which providers such as A2 are seen within the business marketplace. I am delighted that we have won against stiff competition, and it is a great testimony to our teams of staff who work tirelessly in making our many communities better places to live."
Judge, Neil Harris of Deloitte, said: "A2 Housing demonstrated that, with a clear vision, courage to think differently and the commitment of a focused and energetic management, the social housing sector can be a vibrant contributor to the enhancement of the built environment. Deloitte were delighted to award them Surrey Company of the Year."
