If you want to move out of your home there are a number of things you need to do. These are:

• give us four weeks' notice in writing;
• tell us the address you are moving to before you move out;
• tell us the date you are moving;
• remove all your belongings; and
• return the keys to us at the end of the four weeks.

If you have a joint tenancy and only one of you is leaving, both of you should tell us so we can look into transferring the tenancy to the person who is staying.

We need four weeks' notice in writing if you are moving out of your home. If you have a joint tenancy, both residents will need to sign your notice of termination and this needs to be sent to your scheme manager.

Once we have received your termination notice, we will make an appointment to inspect the property. Your scheme manager will arrange this.

If you die your next of kin will have four weeks to end the tenancy and remove any belongings and furniture. The scheme manager and lettings team will always consider individual circumstances.

Please return your keys to your scheme manager.
