Laundry facilities
The launderette is located opposite block C. Please read the operating instructions before using the machines. Use the machines with care and do not overload them. If you use the linen and towels we provide, you can exchange old for new at the accommodation office at House 9, Gill Avenue, Guildford, Surrey, GU2 7WW, during normal office hours.

Cleaning of flat and communal areas
You as a tenant are responsible for keeping your home clean and tidy and if you fail to meet with generally accepted standards of hygiene you will forfeit the right to be in residence. Domestic staff clean communal areas (e.g. kitchen, bathroom, toilets, corridors) once a week.They will remove only one bag of rubbish per visit. Please remember that cleaners cannot do their jobs efficiently if excessive clutter is left in communal areas. The kitchen is also cleaned weekly, but the domestic staff will not clear up tenant's personal mess (e.g. washing up). Please note that if you do not leave the kitchens tidy this will affect the standard of cleaning.

On-call rooms are cleaned three times per week or on change of occupant. The towels in these rooms are changed twice a week and the linen is changed on change of occupant.

Rubbish disposal
All rubbish should be placed inside the large bins located under bocks B, F, K and F. Pease help to ensure that your area remains pest fee by disposing of rubbish in tied-up bags and do not leave rubbish anywhere other than the areas provided.
