A2 have tapped into the memories of many residents within its sheltered schemes to record a collection of wonderful short stories reflecting life in the 30's, 40's, 50's and beyond.

Leopard In my Back Yard was officially launched at an event in Broomfield on 5 July 2006.

With over 70 stories from our sheltered housing communities throughout the South East, there is something for everyone within these lively tales. Read about ghostly apparitions, wartime survival, romantic encounters and even leopards in the garden! This inspiring collection of short stories, memories and experiences has been affectionately gathered together as a window onto the past for all of us to enjoy.

Price is £6.99 (p&p extra) a pound of which will go to Macmillan Cancer Support with the remainder being put towards activities for our sheltered residents. The book would be a great idea for older family members and Christmas isn't far off ......... cheques to be made payable to A2 Housing Group with name and address on back please.
